Airy, Hanging Installation for Portrait Session in Springfield, MO
I'll probably say this a million times, but I love when my friends call me up and ask me if I want to create for them. Beth Solano had a portrait session and asked if I wanted to come build some sort of hanging installation with dried plants for it. Of course I was in.
We purchased some dried plants from Afloral and I foraged some additions from a local park that I always hike at. I used chicken wire to secure the plants in the installation and hung it with fishing line from the rafters in the studio space.
When I finished building it, Beth and I looked at each other giddily, then did a little excited dance before she started shooting with the model. This installation got us so excited and inspired! I'm ready to design one of these for a wedding now.
