Moody, Relaxed Fall Elopement at The Lodge at Rockspan Farm | Adair + Michael
When we say this elopement was moody and relaxed, we truly mean it. And it was in all the BEST ways! From the very beginning of the planning process, Adair and Michael said that they were obsessed with the moody weather of the Pacific Northwest. Though we never specifically wished for rain on their wedding day, we definitely weren’t opposed to it.
And on November 8, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri, the sky was overcast and a light drizzle was in the air. And you could tangibly feel allllll the feeellllss. Adair and Michael were ecstatic that as they were reading their vows to each other surrounded by clouds, a lake and eight of their closest friends, the light raindrops were making it feel all the more moody. Never once were they rushed by the rain, they embraced it and spent hours running around the gorgeous property at The Lodge at Rockspan Farm taking photos together and enjoying their day. We’re telling you guys — these are our kind of people!!
After their ceremony, they ate a dinner of pizza and breadsticks with a fire burning in the fireplace. They had their favorite romantic movie, Before Sunrise, playing on a huge screen in the background. Every detail fit them. Ugh. We could go on for hours about this special day and the team of vendors that helped make it happen! Scroll to the bottom to read about who contributed to this fall elopement.
