Retro, Adventurous Intimate Wedding at The Lodge at Rockspan Farm | Jessie + Matt — Wildly Collective | Joshua Tree and Palm Springs Wedding and Elopement Planner

This elopement was a dream. Back in September we partnered with several amazing vendors in Springfield, MO to give a free elopement away to one deserving couple. Little did we know so many wonderful couples would apply! The decision was so difficult to make, but eventually we landed on Jessie and Matt, and we’re so glad we did. When we called Jessie to tell her she and Matt had won, she started crying. It was so moving and so sweet. We knew we were giving a special gift away, but didn’t realize until that very moment how meaningful it was. Our hearts melted.

The day of their elopement ended up being the most perfect fall day in early November. The couple invited about 20 of their closest friends and family to their ceremony which was held next to a bubbling spring that pours out into a lake. A rock bridge and trees still holding onto their fall colors sat beautifully in the background. After Jessie and Matt’s ceremony, they got in their getaway canoe and “sailed into the distance” to enjoy some time alone and let their families make their way home. After their canoe ride they enjoyed a first dance and intimate dinner, just the two of them.
