Bright, Moody Styled Shoot for Photography Workshop in Missouri | The Ivy Workshop
Moody meets bright with this styled shoot we designed specifically for The Ivy Workshop— a photography workshop based in Missouri.
We were asked over a year ago to design a shoot for the babes attending the second year of The Ivy Workshop. Immediately, we said yes! We love getting creative and funky; and styled shoots are the absolute best for that! Plus, getting to know all the new photographers and creatives in the area made it even more rewarding. Pouring into our community and fostering growth for others (and us) is one of our favorite things!
The shoot was inspired by nature’s occurance of the Blood Moon, but with a bright twist. Rust, amber, copper, gold and black tones were used throughout the designs. We added in pops of bright reds, oranges and pinks with the florals. We were lucky enough to score THREE couples to model, which gave the photographers lots of time to shoot and build a diverse portfolio.
The shoot featured a wedding ceremony with a greenery install in the shape of a crescent moon; a farmhouse table with black matte dinner plates, gold flatware, a rust-colored menu, amber budvases and floral ground installations on either side of the table; The Traveling Tin Co; a rust and copper invitation suite with dried florals; a couple taking a ride in a canoe; and three gorgeous boho wedding dresses from Joon Bridal.
