8 Hotels for a Micro-Wedding in Palm Springs

There’s a reason we visited the desert of Southern California and chose to stay: the tranquility, design, and jaw-dropping views are unmatched. In Palm Springs, this is obvious. The city has so many options for a micro-wedding. You’ll find a hotel on nearly every corner. But we have several favorites that stand out for their amenities, service, and beauty.

When planning a micro-wedding, we aim to infuse all the essence of the desert into an elevated experience where intentionality can take center stage. We also understand that each couple has a unique wedding budget. This blog showcases a range of hotels at different price points, from ultra-luxury (Sensei Porcupine) to budget-friendly (Yara Hotel).

We consider a micro-wedding to host 50 guests or less. Several of the hotels on this list are perfect for this guest count, with an overnight capacity of around 50 or less. All but two of the hotels on this list require a full buyout of their hotel for a wedding weekend. The Parker and Korakia are the exceptions, which offer partial buyout or room block options.

Some other items we consider when choosing a hotel for a wedding weekend in Palm Springs:

  • Boutique-style rooms or villas with private, thoughtfully designed spaces and modern amenities

  • Chef-crafted meals that celebrate local flavors and seasonal ingredients

  • Proximity to planned activities like guided hikes, yoga sessions, spa treatments, or bike rides through the desert landscape

Each of the following venues offers a unique blend of desert charm, from serene retreats to retro-chic resorts, with all the space and amenities needed for a truly magical celebration.
