Destination Wedding in Sacred Valley, Peru | Emma + Sameer

Emma and Sameer met in Peru working for MedLife five years ago. This past June they returned with 29 of their loved ones to share the stunning landscapes and culture of the place where their love story began.

Their wedding festivities spanned several days. A journey to Machu Picchu followed by a train ride home with live music and dancing. A ceremony in a 16th century church to honor Sameer’s family. An adventure session in the mountains surrounded by Incan ruins. A wedding celebration nestled in Sacred Valley at an eco lodge with the most impeccable service.

Of course planning a wedding in South America brought it’s challenges with differences in tradition and language, but at the end of the day we were blown away by the kindness, beauty, and history that all of the vendors offered us through the planning process. We’re so grateful to every single person who made this day come to life and to Emma and Sameer for trusting us with their vision.

We are so eager to return to Peru. This country stole our hearts!
