That’s the best way we can describe the kind of love Ashley and Colin have.

After meeting Ashley at the first Gather Midwest in 2019, Ashley and Colin reached out to have us be part of their day originally set for late September in 2020.

Of course, plans for their celebration changed in 2020.

Ashley and Colin adjusted with so much grace. They chose to still marry on their original date set in 2020. Instead of holding a big party they gathered immediate family to witness their ceremony and enjoyed a lovely feast on Ashley’s father’s property.

A year later we partied! Their loved ones safely traveled from all over the world to be with them.

During their wedding - aka anniversary - Ashley and Colin enjoyed a slow morning getting ready together at the iconic Hotel St. Louis.

We readied the beautiful Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park that afternoon with the talented Marcie of Revel and Hearten. I remember when Ashley first told us about Marcie’s work. Her florals truly are sculptural masterpieces.

At the altar Marcie crated two stunning, wild floral installations to frame the couple. Along the aisle were beautiful grassy ground pieces lending to the lush garden aesthetic.

Leading up to the wedding day, guests received a stunning invitation suite designed by the bride herself. She is a talented artist with a love of lush gardens, so the suite obviously emulated this love.

Promptly at 5 p.m. Ashley and Colin walked into their ceremony hand and hand. Smiling eyes beamed throughout the crowd and Colin’s sister led us all in honoring Ashley and Colin’s marriage.

The reception was everything Ashley and Colin hoped for. The weather was perfect for dancing throughout the night. DJ Will kept the energy steady and fun for hours. Hollyberry catered the most delicious apps and Hot Box Cookies were a HIT!

One of our favorite moments was witnessing Ashely and Colin along with all of Ashley’s cousins taking a shot of Jägermeister in honor of their late, beloved grandmother. They cheered in her honor and hugged one another.

Working with Ashley and Colin was a dream. In every interaction they were kind, thoughtful and honest. Truly aiming to align not only their wedding celebration, but also their lives with their values of love, connection and beauty.
