Lavender, Garden Party Wedding at Greenhouse Two Rivers | Alainna + Caleb

Alainna and Caleb showed immense grace throughout their planning. Having originally set their date for spring of 2020, like many others we adjusted for the health and safety of their loved ones. We rescheduled their wedding twice, and when it finally happened in May of 2022 we were all so elated, relieved, and overjoyed. They brought so much positivity and relaxed attitudes. These two are truly angels.

The design for Alainna and Caleb’s day was inspired by a walk through an English garden — overrun with blooming Wisteria and potted plants. We included potted plants along the aisle to evoke this feeling as the guests and the couple walked down the aisle. The primary color for their day was lavender; the tone of Wisteria.

The seating chart featured an arched structure with escort cards in ombre lavender tones. A welcome sign made from acrylic— tying to the greenhouse venue— layered beneath the seating chart.

A photo backdrop with the phrase “I love you dearly” was mounted amongst flowers on grid paneling. The phrase is special to Alainna and Caleb— something they say to each other often. Though simple, there’s something special about adding “dearly” at the end of this important phrase.

At the tables, we created table numbers that had pieces of old book pages attached. The couple loves reading — this detail nodded to that hobby. We used pyramid-folded napkins at each place setting to create dimension on these simple tablescapes. Deckled edge paper was used for a personalized quiz about the couple that guests filled out at their tables during dinner.

After dinner the couple shared the quiz answers-shortly after a hilarious interaction with guests asking them questions to pinpoint the correct answers.

Alainna and Caleb’s shared love of music lead to this being the first wedding where we collaborated with two bands of distinct styles for the event. The first being a family blue grass band who played during the ceremony and cocktail hour. A groovy jazz ensemble had us tapping toes during dinner and swooning during the remainder of the reception.

Cheers to these two sweethearts and the rich love they share.
