Wedding Weekend at Villa Royale in Palm Springs, CA | Sophia & Adam
Sophia and Adam took over the hotel Villa Royale in Palm Springs, California for a whole weekend of quality time and celebration with their loved ones!
The weekend began with a playful, golf-themed welcome party at the hotel’s courtyard pool. Guests were invited to dress on theme— to lean into the colorful, retro feeling of Palm Springs while also nodding to the couple’s love of playing golf. Golf tees inscribed with “S&A FORE-EVER” were available for the taking at the bar, mashed potatoes in martini glasses were served, and many friendly games of putt-putt were played!
The following day the ceremony unfolded in the fountain courtyard with breathtaking views of the San Jacinto mountains. The couple had both of their dads officiate the ceremony, but to the surprise of their parents and all of their guests, the officiants weren’t needed— at reception Sophia and Adam announced that they were already married and had been for over a year! It was the surprise of the night, and everyone was elated!
The night continued under a sailcloth tent with a family-style dinner, a vintage photo booth, and dancing till they touched the disco ball (quite literally, the hora gave Sophia and Adam wings). The evening ended with late night tacos from a local stand and more dancing inside the Villa Royale’s secret bar— Del Rey.
It was an absolute pleasure planning with Sophia, Adam and their families, and a weekend we will never forget!
